What is it?
The Hike for Hospice Foothills is an annual event organized by the Foothills Country Hospice to raise funds for terminally-ill adults and their loved ones. It allows them to access the help they need during their end-of-life journey.
Why do we do this?
We hike to celebrate our clients and families, honour those living with advanced illness, and remember loved ones who have passed away.
We hike because Foothills Hospice relies on our community to help cover rising costs so we can continue offering our essential programs to those who need them most.
We hike because coming together as a community helps us heal.
Where?
7 Riverside Dr, Okotoks, Alberta, Canada
When?
Sunday, May 5 starting at 10 am at Ethel Tucker Centennial Park
Schedule
10:00 am – 10:45 am: Same-day registration, package pickup and event check-in
10:45 am: Speeches and warm-up
11:00 am: 5K Hustle starts
11:15 am: 2K & 5K Hike starts
10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Family-friendly activities and food trucks onsite
